Discusses the story behind the play the 'Black Diggers' that was written by Tom Wright and directed by Wesley Enoch; describes some of the issues relating to the diggers treatment when they returned including not being recognised as Australian citizens and being denied access to their wages; also discusses recent developments for the remembrance of Indigenous diggers and one in particular a Trooper Horace Dalton of the 11th Lighthorse Regiment who in April 2012 was given a re-burial with full military honours and a traditional ceremony
