Summary
The intimate story of a black family and a white family living on a cattle station northwest of Alice Springs - the site of the beginning of the Coniston Massacre. The film traces the lives of the pastoralist Grant Martin and his Aboriginal stockman Harry Dickson and their relationship over 60 years on from the terrible events of 1928. The centre point of the film is a seven-week muster of the cattle on the station and the thought provoking interviews of the central figures - source: National Film and Sound Archive
