Summary
Indigenous communities in Australia today are seeing an epidemic of self-harm and suicide among young people. To help address this crisis, this report presents the wisdom and experiences of community Elders - from Cape York to the Kimberley - on what is causing this rise in youth suicide and what solutions are needed. What is now known is that healing must come from within communities, though there is still a role for the government, courts, police and medical services. This report is part of The Culture Is Life campaign
