An interesting insight into the school curriculum during the late 1980s. Seen from a child's perspective, a vision is gained of where cultural perspectives, reconciliation and racism were at during this decade. Teachers discuss many themes surrounding cultural diversity. Teachers ask students to write down their thoughts on Aboriginal people, although most of the students have never met any Aboriginal people. Then after having an Aboriginal high school student visit their classroom and talk to them, they ask the students to write down their thoughts again. Kids challenge and explore their own perceptions about Aboriginal people
