Summary
A satirical account of one of the late 19th Century hoaxes, of one Henri Louis Grin, who restyled himself as Louis de Rougemont and claimed, amongst other fanciful tales of shipwreck, pearling and adventure, to have lived among the Aborigines of northern Australia for 30 years. As de Rougemont he achieved some fame in London, serialising his fictional tales in the London press before being exposed as a fraud
