- Report attempts to engage with the reasons for over-representation of Indigenous people in ACT prisons, to identify existing mainstream and Indigenous crime prevention and diversion initiatives in the ACT, to highlight gaps in service provision and areas on unmet need and make recommendations for change (from p. 7); research methodology was law and justice literature research; consultations with government policy officers and program managers and others; project was conducted in partnership with the Aboriginal Justice Centre; includes a section on the ACT Indigenous community's views of Indigenous over-representation in the criminal justice system p. 16-18
